This set includes the “2015” Doc brown and Marty Mcfly minifigures which is cool, I’m now waiting Lego to make the Wild Western version of them soon.
The DeLorean Time Machine is the best Back to the Future set they made ever, capturing all details from the movies.
The set has gull wing doors that move up smoothly but the door on the right tends to fall apart more, I don’t know what I did to make it do that, I’ll try fixing it soon.
Even though it’s not minifigure scale there’s a lot of details and Easter eggs in there, for example the time display showing your current time, the time you left and the time you last departed, basically it’s the present, the future and the past is what Doc brown was saying.
On the back there’s a button where if you press it it’ll light up the flux capacitor which is cool.
Open up the trunk to reveal the infamous hoverboard and the highly dangerous plutonium which helps make the car go.
Now the best part of the set is that Lego gives you the options to build your favorite version of the DeLorean, like the first one with the rod on the back of the car.
The other options are the “2015” version and the Wild West version.
I forgot to mention about the OUTATIME license plate on the back and can switch out for the bar code on.
A nice little detail in the Mr fusion is in there is the banana and beer can Doc puts in at the end of the first movie.
On the belly on the DeLorean there’s a lever where you can switch it make the car hover.
And las if you want the Wild West version all you n to do is mod the hood of the car to add the extra circuits and replace the tire rims to replace them with the 1950s versions so that you can go back in time to save the Doc before he dies.
They made a more minifigure scale version of this a while back in 2015 (oh now I see why they did it) but I didn’t get it because I didn’t know they even made it.
Then they made smaller ones back when they had the toys come to life version of Lego, Lego dimensions but still have a chance on getting it because at that point Lego dimensions was dead and forgotten.
Overall Lego did a really good job on this set, we need more sets like this.
Support my project.
