This set comes with a generic R2-D2 minifigure on a display plaque describing who he is and his functions.
Below R2-D2 there’s a 50 year anniversary for Lucasfilm which now that I think about it that’s old, wow.
The main build is the second ever giant R2-D2 set we’ve gotten since 2012.
The details are great and are very smooth all around and has a lot of details.
The first play feature is you push the levers on the back to reveal two of his arms, one used for accessing any computer and the other used for zapping things.
The two other things do open but don’t have anything in there.
The head can move in a 360 degree angle and has a scope on the top of his head.
Open up his compartment to reveal Luke’s second lightsaber.
The coolest play feature so far is you can deploy his third leg in order for him to move, sadly there’s now tires underneath so he can’t move.
Overall it’s a solid set, especially when they released it back in 2021.
And that’s it, daily Lego showcasing is over for now until I get more sets to showcase but it was fun doing it.
Now I’ll be promoting my Lego ideas project for now on so please support my project in the link below.
