This month's devlog didn't take 6 months to finish like I promised, and for that I deeply apologize. For next time we'll strive to make as many delays, unnecessary sprite and engine remakes, and be as unmotivated as possible for you all.
Ok jokes aside, we're sorry we took a little while longer to get this out to you all, October has definitely been the most productive month the team has been through yet, and due to some minor issues and roadblocks, we couldn't achieve the Halloween deadline on time. However, I hope what we have to show was worth the 2 month long wait.

Major Stuff

Phase 1 is DONE
That's right, it only took us a complete engine redo, multiple sprite revisions, and a ton of blood, sweat, tears, vomit, along with other bodily fluids. But it's finally done.

This is the only one that's going to be shown for the rest of development, so don't go expecting we're going to leak the entire game before it's finished.
Phase 2 progress so far
We have some stuff to show for phase 2 as well. Right now we have an intro and a few attacks done, including one of Sans' special attacks.
We can't show too much of these special attacks without spoiling the players, so you'll have to wait on those.
Also shout out to Benyi for making the new Maniac's Revenge, he's definitely one of the best UTC musicians out there, and this MR is by far one of his best works in my opinion.
Phase 3
We don't have much to show for this phase as we were mainly focused on the first two phases. But we will show some more cool stuff once the next devlog comes around.
Story
The game's plot has been changed a bit to improve on the original pre-leak's, while also adding some details we found important. The original premise is still relatively the same however.
Songs
Some songs are going to be replaced. This includes Lunatic being replaced with Benyi's new Homicidal Lunacy cover, along with some others.
Sprites
Some sprites has been updated a little bit, we aren't gonna show all of them yet, but I hope you all can see the differences in the already shown clips.
Overworld
Well, after thinking about this for a while, we have finally decided to expand the overworld exploration, and it seems a skeleton was a couple steps ahead this time.
The overworld will have actual purposes, not just a thing to make the game longer.
Minor Stuff

Now that we got some of the major stuff out of the way, let's go into some of the more minor, but interesting things we got done.
New GameJolt Banner
A stylish new banner that I think encapsulates the atmosphere of this game quite well.

An improved version of the old demo's game over screen
Discord Rich Presence Support
We implemented Discord Rich Presence support, now all of your loser friends can know you're playing a loser game.

That's all we planned to show for last month. Thank you for being patient as we worked our collective asses off to spoon feed you content.
We're kicking into full gear, as engines and sprites aren't our main priority anymore, and we can finally get some real work done.
