honestly i cant get myself to work on the 1.2 update or whatever it was anymore because the engine is old and the code is sloppy and i am generally not motivated for it

so i've decided to cut straight back to working on 2.0, and this time it'll just be a complete remake of the game on a new engine

whilst ssh is still a good game, it's not something i'm as proud of anymore. my art and music style, storytelling, as well as the general quality bar has increased significantly since i was working on this game, so it would probably be good to just start over

i've learned a lot about game development and design so hopefully the game will turn out a lot nicer (and much more accessible because sam is a pretty difficult game lmfao)

i never expected myself to be doing what is basically ssh remastered LOL but i think it'll be worth it in the end

anyhow this project wont be my main focus for atleast a while as i still am working on vvhr and a couple new boldis gamings that i hope are yummy and enjoyable, but i'll do some work on it here and there in the meantime

i might post dev footage (either this or the new game) sometime bc my youtube has been very dormant

also vvhr update soon hopefully as well as a new secret game okbyeee !!!!! :3
