Since I am part of Camp Cataclysm’s discord server and know most of the stuff of CC thanks to the beloved devs let’s address his points shall we?

”The theme of Camp Cataclysm is cataclysm. Nearly none of the characters fit there” The actual theme for Camp Cataclysm’s roster is to bring calamity/destruction. I know this because I asked the team “What is the theme of CC’s roster?” And Sploingle responded to me “Able to bring Calamity”, “Each member of the Calamities brings destruction in many different ways”.

‘The devs don’t really care about it either, like, they just put Cyn in there because she wasn’t in Pillar Chase.” The actual reason why our beloved Cyn is part of Camp Cataclysm’s roster other than the devs liking Murder Drones is because she fits the theme of destruction (in the high tiers like DATA.MAC) just like the rest of them.

“Why is Fuwatti included when he does not represent cataclysm” Fuwatti fits in the roster in the lower tiers of destruction due to him being a demon child, if you watched or seen media with a demon child (For example Forsaken’s C00lkidd) you know how much destruction demon children bring.

”Slenderman as well”. Slenderman fits in because he also brings destruction, this itteration of Slenderman is a mixing of Slenderman media.

“EYX is here because the devs don’t want to put normal Sonic.exe in”. First off, using the generic blood crying faker is too generic, secondly EYX is important to the lore due to him being the one who took the life of M’s wife and began his journey to cover data on the calamities. Also in light of recent events following Sonic.exe the Disaster’s takedown on Roblox, using EYX is safe due to him looking very different from Sonic.

“Yoshie doesn’t fit in” Yoshie fits the bill due to not only her being a perfect replacement Japanese Calamity to fill in the roll Kuchisake Onna was supposed to play.

“DATA.MAC is only here because he’s one of the developer’s Ocs” First off, how distasteful to someone’s character, secondly, although I cannot say much due to at the time of posting this DATA.MAC’s lore is being rewritten, He fits the bill of bringing high tier destruction just like Cyn.

”2017x is a weird choice” He is a good choice considering how much people know he isn’t Sonic and how destructive his capabilities are if he’s told he’s not Sonic.

”Most of the characters are here just because the game needs to be popular”. Solver Uzi and Cyn are gonna be in CC because the devs felt like including them, part of Liam Vickers and Glitch Productions’s copyright laws is that their characters can’t be used if they’re solely for profit. Secondly, the team is NOT aiming for profit.

So please @Freddie_e4ad next time don’t be a dickwad to projects including media that “doesn’t make sense to you”.
