as a side note, "running from nothing" would have been if he decided to exit the forest (which would've lead to a whole different thing and frankly a lot less interesting hearing eggman constantly run from zombots & starline, that would get stale really quick; giving the dude ptsd for illusions would also make little to no sense and be shooting myself in the foot in terms of writing, so uh yeah have that)

which of course makes no sense, he knows mobians have evacuated by now in some way - would be degrading his 300 IQ (going by StH1 manual) to 0,25.
