Unfortunately, not much progress development wise has been made on the Mario 64 DS horror game with the spooky white bunny. Outside of development however, I've gotten alot of ideas for the game and I think I have a solidified idea of how the main game will go including gameplay and story, so I believe I have everything I need to go off of once I return to developing this game, it hopefully should go smoothly!
At one point I was also considering making a demo version, but I'm not sure it would really be necessary, this game isn't planned to be massive anyways (but still a good size). I dunno, maybe you guys could let me know if you'd like a demo or would prefer to wait for the full game. I don't really do demos very often. (watch me make a demo and then cancel the game just like half of the .exe games out there LOL)
Anyways, not much I can show, but here's a little showcase of the gameplay (like I said, it will not work like the original game does):
I am super excited to get more stuff done in White Rabbit, it's so much fun to work with and I have alot of passion for it still!
So, I did make @thatdoggocalledray the main developer for the remaining FNaWniverse games so I could move on to other games. However, for Cabin Fever Remastered, I am back to developing the game alongside Ray. Although this game was paused, we've recently returned to this game, and progress was pretty good before the pause.
As for High Rollers Jackpot Edition (lost the devlog banner for it sorry), I have been considering returning to this game since I've recently gotten motivation to work on it again. I won't finalize any decisions just incase, but if I return to developing this game, Ray will still be there if he wants to assist but I will be the primary developer. Progress on both of these games will likely be slower.
Since both of these games have been dormant for a bit, here's some sneak peek images:
Also, returning to these remasters, I remembered how much fun I had working on them! Coming back to Jackpot's MFA file definitely brought me back some more motivation.
Night at Nuggit's, let me tell you, I have been having an absolute bwast blast with. It is currently one of my main focuses, making a not so serious but still spooky game based on another favorite series of mine feels so good and refreshing!
The only problem with this game is since every asset in this game is hand drawn by me, development progress is often stumped, whether it be because something is taking a long time to draw or because I get exhausted (characters like fwench fwy take me days to get all poses done lol). So when it comes to how progress is going, I guess you could say it's alright. Let me tell you, drawing an entire game yourself is draining lol
Not gonna stop me of course. Despite issues with myself, I am still having fun and am very passionate with this project. I can't wait to spread the nuggityness when the game is out!
There's, well, not anything I can think of showing for this post, but m-
-what? Uh, okay anyways, make sure to follow the Night at Nuggit's page for updates!
So, not alot of progress at all has been made for the Remix update. It isn't planned to be massive or anything so don't expect too much from it, it should hopefully still be a cool update though! Since it isn't massive, I may end up bringing it higher on my priorities.
I won't talk about everything coming to the update yet since I am not fully sure, but I will tell you that I want to include new designs, new characters, new gameplay mechanics and new modes.
Also, the name of this update might be Double Remix. Cuz, y'know, it's a remix of a game that is remixing another game... yeah LOL
About the new character designs, here are a few of them:
Mario's Dream... I don't even really know what to say about it. I do still plan to update this game, however...
The planned update was rather small. It would've done things like give the game a better saving system, fix some issues, and do something with event content (I didn't decide what). However, it's been awhile now (like what, a year?), and I don't want people to expect a giant update for this game due to the amount of time that has passed. I wasn't doing a giant update, I've just been busy with everything else and haven't felt like coming back to Mario's Dream at the moment.
So, I just want to let you know that when this game is updated, I may add some extra new content, but don't expect something of a large scale. Maybe down the road even more Mario's Dream stuff will be made as I do still respect this series, but when or if that will happen I am not sure.
Nothing to show for this of course. But, uh, there is that new Phantario sticker I added to my sticker pack. Pretty epic huh?
HOW THE DEVLOG ENDS
That's all I'd like to discuss for these games, atleast in this devlog.
