Sorry I took so long, a lot of stuff has been happening in real life that I'm trying to get sorted out. Either way, it's time I rate some of these new games I tried!
-BLANK: BLANK was honestly a very interesting experience overall! I've never really seen a game take an art style direction like BLANK did, but the game was absolutely stellar in the music department! It reminded me of back when I used to play Final Fantasy IV on my dad's old Super NES with my sibling way back when... good times. Anyways, the story was definitely fascinating, I really wasn't expecting anything too stellar going into it, but it was absolutely fantastic! I'd have to rate BLANK as an 8/10.
-Eternal Hope: This game gave me Hollow Knight vibes in the art department, so I just had to check out the demo here on Gamejolt because my fiancé introduced me to Hollow Knight several years ago and it was a great game! While the demo wasn't very long, it was enthralling enough that I went over to Steam and bought the full game, gotta say that I definitely don't regret it! I absolutely LOVE the mask mechanic, it feels like a mix between the Dweller mask from A Hat in Time and the "see invisible objects" abilities from the older Lego games, both of which I loved by the way! For a game with such a simple premise, it makes that simple premise engaging and I absolutely love that! I'd have to rank this one a 6/10 for the demo because it definitely could have used a little more content to hook the player further, but a 9/10 for the full game!
-Project Alpha (Beta Testing): I was actually approached by a game developer that I started following a few years ago and they asked me if I could test their upcoming game for them! Something about "wanting a fresh set of eyes to play through the scrapped beta rather than someone who already has?" Made enough sense to me, so I decided to give it a quick play. They told me about a lot of the elements that they changed since the beta and I can definitely see how they changed a lot of their stuff. I asked if I could possibly record some of it to show people and Luunii agreed, saying that pretty much everything I saw was going to be revamped. I've only made it through the first town because I had to attend another therapy appointment, so I'll get back to testing it pretty soon. It's... strange, but I'll elaborate on that in the video's description.
I can't really rate this one yet because I haven't finished it quite yet, but I'll get there soon enough.

And those were all of the games I tried! I know that last title was especially strange, but I'm curious as to where it will go! The full version of Horrorvale (a game I reviewed in an earlier post) just came out yesterday, so I'm going to hopefully get around to playing that soon! For now though, I'll link everybody else and their games! Be sure to support them!
