I just released my first “Name your Price” game ( which means FREE, but donations are appreciated! ). And to show that appreciation, here’s a list of tips and tricks, in no particular order, to doing well in the game:

-Double your money: The game has random elements to make each play through unique. One of these elements is picking random clams on the seafloor to have VALUABLE PEARLS inside! You can open the clams by shooting them with spears or stabbing them with your knife. You won’t always find them, but if you do, hold onto them. If you collect 3, you can CRAFT the perk “double Money” in the Shop Reaper’s boat store. Doing so will make your catches worth twice as much! Any remaining pearls can be sold for a nice lump sum, but you definitely want to take advantage of this trick!

• No Man’s Die: Speaking of money tricks, if you search around the bottom you might just find a certain snake-oil salesman riding around in a yellow submarine. Get a handsome cash bonus for taking him out!

• The fish are stronger and harder to take down when they weigh more, but that’s good—you want the heaviest fish possible to win each round and eventually the whole competition!

• You don’t have to just catch the fish the round is looking for, in fact a good strategy is to ignore the round timer until you collect a few scales from various fish. You gatta snag them on the line, grab ‘em, then STAB ‘EM until they drop scales, then collect them. If you combine the right combos in the Shop Reaper’s boat store, you can unlock PERKS that help you win the game easier and enhance your items.

• You also don’t have to snag every fish on a hook to get them. If you are a fast enough shot, or plant seamines, you can KILL FISH OFF HOOK and collect their bodies at the surface! Watch out for their attacks though!

-The NPC’s contain good tips too, so talk to them once and a while!
