Today is my birthday! 🥳🎂

Decided to do another Zelda themed birthday cake!

This time, I made the Hylian Shield. I also, got experiment using fondant for the first time. Made from scratch, too. The cake is Red Velvet with buttercream.


As birthday gifts, I received cat earrings, blue slippers, a blue fleece jacket, and a blue long sleeved shirt.

Blue is my favorite color. 💙

Let me tell ya. Working with fondant is a lot of work! 😅 Thankfully, I looked up a few videos and found a couple of good tutorials on how to make fondant and decorate it on a cake.

At least I had fun making the cake! I like how the final results of the cake turned out. It was sweet and delicious!

I even went out of my way to get all of my Zelda amiibos for this one because this was a special birthday for me and it's my way of celebrating Zelda's 40th anniversary!
