Note: I write this everyone, but especially to my fellow Americans

My heart to this day goes out to those who have been effected by the tragic attacks of which took place on September 11th, 2001, and most of us have been effected by it regardless of when we were born. I wish you to not take for granted the safety of which you enjoy today, and while there will always be those who find opportunities to complain about their lives when in reality, there is no better place in the world right now than the U.S.

The 9/11 attacks reinforced the fact that we should not take our safety for granted. We do not have to fear something like this happening daily (while for I all know it potentially could happen again) we live in a country of freedom, prosperity (currently), as well as safety and opportunity. All I ask of you is to remember the events of which occurred on this date 22 years ago. Many people lost their lives that day, and many families were destroyed that day. I am thankful for the world I live in today, while it is not perfect, I have a roof under my head, good food, and much more. That is already more than many people can say.
