This is why we commemorate Pride Month every year; to remember when and why we had enough of the abuse and stood up for ourselves, we couldn't take the discrimination anymore, and since then it's been battle after battle through the decades, many which we have won as more and more laws that accept and protect us get approved in different countries across the world. And we still have current battles to protect those on the community who are still struggling to be themselves. Is all of us or none of us.
I know sometimes the world seems like a scary place, from the government to your own house. Just don't forger that you are never alone, you are not the only one struggling to be who they are without any repercussions. Being in your local queer communities or here online, there will be always more people like you, willing to listen, to help, to make you feel like you belong.
Game Jolt had always been a very LGBT+ friendly website, not only commemorating pride month every year, but also donating money to charities in exchange of colorful pride items on the store.
The FNaF community has a big variety of LGBT+ people, and while there will always be homophobes and transphobes everywhere, here is a safe place where the majority will accept who you are. Even Cawthon itself is very respectful towards the community, his donations to the Trevor project had been consistent and from a place that cares.
The Fanverse communities, Five Nights at Candy's, POPGOES and The Joy of Creation, not only had always been a safe space for queer people, but also have a bunch of queer devs on their teams, being treated as equals no matter their gender, sexuality or nationality.
LGBT+ lives matters, Trans rights matter, Aces lives matter
We all have our place in the rainbow, we all deserve to be happy by being ourselves. Never listen to the words of hate that claim love is conditional, that you have to be a specific way to be accepted. Being a person you are not is not "improve in yourself"
I hope you had a wonderful month, never stop fighting, never deny who you are
