Today's Update Is NOT Wave 2


So I’m calling this update the Armstrong Update now, because, well, why not?

Anyway, a new update to the game just went up today. Just telling you right now, it is NOT Wave 2. Even though the game file is about 4 MB bigger than normal, it is only a patch, and the extra size is merely a revamp in the audio engine. It will become smaller again next update (maybe).

What DID change then?

  • Changed how audio was loaded into the game to prepare for WAVE 2 of the ARMSTRONG UPDATE. This may reduce some lag on VERY low-end computers.

  • Bug fixes.

  • Made SENATOR ARMSTRONG impervious to fire.

  • Made the “Dash Kick” end movement slower at 18 pixels per second (previously 30 pixels per second).

  • “Narration” now increases the Defense of a character if their Defense is already at or above normal.

  • Changed SENATOR ARMSTRONG’s end-game credit bonus to -65 (previously -45).

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
