After the chat and revelations with Cosmic Naomi, Cosmic Haiden and Chayanne reluctantly leave the safety of her auditorium to press on to a new location Cosmic Kaleo found. As Naomi is ultimately neutral in the grand scheme of things, both of them are worried she might tell Luke where Chayanne is.
As the duo are walking down the quiet corridors, Chayanne reveals some things about the relationship she and Cosmic Lake/Luke had in the past before he died. Unlike the usual horror movie protagonists though, she knows better than to go right to him when he’s obviously not in his right mind at the moment. The fact he’s a spirit possessing an animatronic is just the icing on the cake, so to speak.
Ewan then gets a video message on his built in touchscreen computer. Playing it reveals more of Cosmic Lake’s motivations regarding Chayanne, delivering an ultimatum to all the other Cosmic Animatronics. Turning their game into one of retrieval instead of unalivement.
Chayanne has some weird through processes about the entire situation though, much to Ewan’s confusion due to her slightly skewed priorities. But hey, you have to have some humour in these types of situations.
