Too many plans - Monday Lookahead

I’m still doing my best to rest during my 2 week break. I’ve succeeded in keeping myself away from The Ballad of Lone Phoenix so I don’t have anything new to share in this post. But I don’t want to skip a Monday Lookahead, so here’s another post with me rambling about miscellaneous things regarding the future of game.

I think this week is a great time to share my plans for the mobile versions of the game. Since the game is based on the look of games from the Gameboy handheld console, I think it’s only fitting to release the game on mobile platforms. I currently plan on releasing the game on iOS and Android devices. I would love to be able to publish the game to the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita, but I don’t currently have the money. I’m hoping the game will sell well enough for me to be able to publish the game on dedicated handheld consoles (with real buttons).

One more thing before I go:
I’m gearing up to launch a Steam Greenlight page sometime within the next 2 months. I’d love to launch the page right away, but I feel like the game isn’t quite ready for the harsh critics on Steam. Never fear though, GameJolt will always be the primary platform for the game’s release.

I hope these random ramblings haven’t bored you, I try to make them somewhat interesting, but current real-life events have kept me pretty busy so I can’t spend as much time compiling my thoughts as I would like.

Thank you for reading!
God bless
