Yes, the grass was that dry, and Im not kidding, it was so hot I had to take an umbrella with me and even then it's still absolutely hot
I'm telling you the coulds in Southeast Asia are just decorative elements in the sky, and only trap in more heat, they're only useful when a large clump forms randomly on your vicinity and gives you some shade and cooling, but only for a few seconds
