It is with great sadness that I have to announce that I am going to have to cancel Troll Song. There are various factors for this but basically it’s stalled too many times for too long, I have no dev team, I don’t even have access to the game files right now (long story), so I think that it’s best to put this to bed. I don’t know if I could bear getting another team together and making headway only for it to all fall apart and not get the finished game out still, so for now I’m going to have to call it a day with the trolls.

Obviously in the future if I can find a way to bring the game back I will do it, because this is a game very close to my heart, but right now I can’t see it happening. If anyone’s interested I may well end up writing a novel based on what the game’s plot would have been, but that’s likely to be it.

Sorry to anyone who was looking forward to the full game. Believe me when I say that there is no-one on the planet more sad about this announcement than me.. At least the freeware Verse One that’s available offers a nice game experience and Troll Song has the odd distinction of winning the AGS Best Demo award on two separate occasions (again, long story!), so Clod and gang do have some kind of legacy.
