True Devlog #1

(True devlogs will explain the progress and state of the game, what's done, and what's not done yet.)

Game Sprites - As you can probably tell, most of the sprites are either premade, aka by Toby Fox or taken from an Engine, or created by me, hence why they look not the greatest.

Attacks - There is currently only 3 attacks in-game. And there's planned to be 15-20 at the very minimum, from easy to hard as the battle rages on.

Buttons - All of the buttons and uses for each buttons have been completed except for the icon to the farthest right that looks like a cross. The uses are pretty self explanatory, except for the cross which my true intentions for it shall be revealed later.

Settings - The settings are *mostly* done except for a cheat menu and a difficulty setting.

Jukebox - This is mainly complete, it's just used to preselect what songs you'd like to use in-game.

The game will first be released as a prototype, then after a bit, or long time, the full game will become playable.

Slight Devlog, the food system is now this and when the game is released it will be way smoother. You get 4 shots of the gun, and 4 food items to replenish health and combat stamina. Stamina is currently not implemented.

There is a reason there is 5 buttons instead of 4, as well as a gun and a scythe icon. These are meant to represent ranged and melee systems that are a work-in-progress at the moment. There will be a counter for bullets and stamina!

art comission.

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!
