Oh, it seems that some parts of the devlog got removed accidentally. I wonder why. Regardless, please just ignore any missing text. Thank you.
Warning: This devlog contains spoilers for the True Ending of the Don’t Forget Multiplayer Demo. If you’d rather not get spoiled, I suggest that you stop reading this until you’ve gotten the ending for yourself. You can get the true ending by completing the new Impossible Mode. Read the U14 changelog for more details.
By continuing to read this devlog, it is assumed that you’ve already seen the game’s True Ending, as I’ll be speaking in a way that only makes sense if you have.
With that being said, let’s get this thing started, shall we?

Hi guys.
Ever since the new update launched yesterday, I’ve been saying that I wanted to make a devlog discussing the true ending with you guys, and now that I know some people have seen the ending already, I think that now’s a good time do it.

You may have noticed throughout U14 that some of the text has been glitched out here and there, such as the notice screen at the start of the game. Some people have assumed that these were mistakes or bugs, but I can assure you that this was all done intentionally. What I’ve done in U14 to try and foreshadow the true ending was glitch out any text that referred to [ R E D A C T E D ] .
I could have easily just changed the text to not mention [ R E D A C T E D ] at all, but I thought that it was more interesting to glitch it out. It’s kind of symbolic of the game not being sure what to do with itself anymore, since [ R E D A C T E D ] . That sounds kind of weird when I write it down, but that’s how I like to look at it.

Regardless, I’m still extremely honored to have helped establish what an online Undertale fan-game should be like, and I’m very grateful for the support that I received when I first decided to make the transition from a singleplayer game to a multiplayer game. I still can’t believe how far this game has gotten in such a short amount of time.

Thanks for playing!
