MANNN do i really not want to put this one THIS low

it's not *bad* at any capacity but it kinda feels like you kinda copy and pasted Cassie and just replaced the flower part with a different thing

along with the fact that the story seems a bit *too* vague? like there's not really an explanation as to why it's alive :V

this IS made before i posted the entire story for TSoD publically so it does have an excuse but still

i wouldn't want 2 very similar characters in the game

the design looked sick at first tho

ok i'm now only just realizing people are giving their submissions human names because of cassie; not knowing that cassie's supposed to be a play on carCASS brbrbrrb ANYWAYSSS

this one just seems really rushed tbh. i feel like it could have potential but yeahh

the design's alright but the story is just WAYYY too under-developed

to put it short, it's just not fit towards the game at all

it just looks too not plant-like and the backstory doesn't quite make sense as to why they're alive :/

along with the fact i already have characters that look like it's made from flesh but is actually very much more closely-related to plants

this one's really strange and interesting

the design feels like you just mashed the pre-existing special enemies together into one with a few extra spices mixed into it

the story seems really cool but it doesn't fit towards the story of the game. actually seems far too developed for it

the backstories of the characters are supposed be lil mini stories surrounding things the farmer and the witch have created before you've arrived that you aren't supposed to see

so an entire novel for just one character isn't entirely the best for the game

i love the story for this one but the design just looks far too dead

and it doesn't quite fit the role of being a ravager

genuinely tho i love the backstory but everything else is just a bit lacking

i don't really have much else to say other than that

i mean, a half-dog half-rose isn't necessarily a normal creature that exists in the game :V

i really like it but it's very unfitting to TSoD it's better off as it's own thing

life and death is something that's been written very well about in the lore so any sorta posessing and stuff isn't really realistic towards the game

i have a lot of conflicting feelings on this one tbh

the design is awesome and the story is alright but

it looks a lot less like plants in comparison to just rocks

i get that it's supposed to be like armour / protection and allat but the rocks look more like the entity than the small dangly pieces of plants y'know

and also how would they move :V

a lot of people really liked this one so i might died'd due to this opinion but mmmm

and considering it apparently grew larger than the cabin, i don't really know how to come up with a mechanic for it

i really liked this one!

althoughh the story's completely overhauled due to it being too unrelated towards the overall story, but i really like having another venus-esque character

fun fact i actually tried making a TSoD character based on this plant before but i failed miserably :V

i changed quite a bit with this character sadly

i really didn't want to do thatconsidering i wanted to be really loyal to the original

i really liked this one!! althoughh the original design looked a bit too much like cassie so i tried fixing that a lil bit by turning it into an undead and altering some stuff

also tried making it be a bit more accurate to a four-leaf clover

my biggest complaint is the fact that when i was trying to convert the backstory into something that makes sense in the TSoD universe ended up with something WAY too long life and death is something that's very laid-out and written about in the lore so i can't really add any sorta dark magic like that to the lore with no real explanation to it :/

4th. GRASSGROW by @kios3A

i may get died'd for me to put literally grass in 4th, BUTTTT

come onn like the backstory is so lighthearted and cute in comparison to the fact that essentially every other submission's all spooky and edgy and stuff ( no offense :V )

and a real big humgry grass fella just seems like something really fitting and cool to have in the game

btw i shrunked them a lil bit but they're still bigger than, say, Root

changed the name from ilovetrees to tether :/

i get that it's supposed to reference the meme but it's just not fun to say or type besides that, the concept is SUPER cool.

art's a bit flawed but i really like the backstory and the character itself

i removed the "giving nutrients" part though cause
1. i don't wanna model a human
2. it's scarier and easier to just have a rotting fleshy corpse exposed at all times :3

so yeaaaa!! and also i woman-ified her :V

you're too good at thissss

it just looks way too badass for me to not put in the game!!

it's also one of the more unique-looking ones that isn't too different for the game!!!

i did have to replace the exposed ribcage with just random bones cause i didn't want to have 3 special enemies have an exposed ribcage :/

love the character-design tho it looks so majestic in a way

that specific aspect carries it though cause the backstory isn't really anything super special. it does the job and i mean it's still better than average but still

i love this character so much like i really like the backstory, i really like the design, and it fits right in with the other special enemies!!!!!

the only thing i altered in the character is making the costume part in the backstory more-pronounced and elaborated on

it's so cute so sad and so awesome!!!! you did an ABSOLUTELY great job!!! :3
