Chapter 1 :/\: The Chase

"Shit"

I mumble under my breath as I’m running through the dark and densely wooded forest. Not too far behind me I heard many running footsteps. I'm being chased. You might be wondering how and why I'm being chased but if I'm gonna be honest, I don't even know.

As I am wondering how I can lose the people behind me, an arrow flies by my head and hits a tree just barely missing me. I glance behind me and see a blurry figure with a bow raising their bow and aiming it towards me.

In a swift motion I jump into the trees right before it hits me. 'That's way too close' I think as I swing from tree to tree.

As I jump from tree to tree, my baggy pants getting torn by all the branches, I can't help but wonder one thing. WHY THE ACTUAL FUCK AM I BEING CHASED!?!

While lost in my thoughts, I grab a weak branch that snaps and I fall on the ground. My landing sadly isn't pleasant; I'm pretty sure I sprained my ankle and wrist.

"aghhh" I groan in pain as I lay on my stomach, trying to get up. Suddenly I'm rolled over and thrown to a tree.

"fuck, my head" I rub the back of my head and wince in pain, Im bleeding.

I look up and see a familiar face staring down at me. Before I can scream or say anything they raise their Ax above their head. I look at the ax in horror as it swings down.

"PLEAS-!"

my eyes quickly open as i scream "-E NOOO!"

Chapter 2 :/\: Nightmare

Jay jolts awake, breathing heavily out of breath because of screaming and being scared. She looks down at her clock.

"5:28" She mumbles to herself while getting out of bed.

She went into the kitchen, grabbing an egg and sausage breakfast sandwich out of the freezer. She puts the sandwich into the microwave and heads back to her room to get dressed.

*exhales* 'The bus should be here soon' She thinks to herself while waiting for the bus. She takes her phone out and checks the time; it's 6:15 am, May 4th.

"Jay! How’s it going?" Avery says while running over to Jay.

Jay looks over to see who was calling her name and spots a familiar face.

"Hey Ave," In a cheerful but monotone voice "I'm doing good, also good morning" She says with a smile looking down at her friend.

"The bus should be here soon, I was running a bit late"

Jay nods looking at here phone, "uhgg, I hate mondays"
