The Will of Thousands mod adds Xol, Will Of The Thousands as a summonable boss to a new location found randomly in open-world, the boss will have a questline and a summoning 'ritual' needed to summon him. Beating him will require a lot of moving in the arena, and unlike in D2, he will not summon reinforcements. Xol is planned to have three attacks, a 'melee' and two ranged attacks. The bossfight can be restarted if a player loses and will require steel armor and weapons with vanilla only gear, and of course a bow and many arrows (him being end-game is why I made the battle a summon to initiate one, unlike the Immobilized Eidolon is in base game)
When defeated, Xol will drop Worm Carcass, needed to craft a full set of Worm God Armor, which is stronger than steel gear, and a quest for a new weapon, started from a weapons Trader after defeating Xol. The questline weapon will replace Whisper of the Worm to something that fits in with Vintage Story's weapons.
The mod will expand to also include Nokris as a summonable boss, though roughly earlier than Xol (around after Resonance Archives is completed I'd say) and a new set of weapons, tools and armor will be introduced, aswell as new blocks from the boss arenas and related to the bosses.
All boss areas will be claimed so players cannot build or break blocks there.
In the future, the mod might expand into a mod that adds random D1 and D2 bosses from campaign and Raids, but not much other is planned for now.
