A few facts about him:
He's my interpretation of how the OG Ralph/Phone Guy from FNaF 1 & 2 would look like in DSaF universe
His name "Scott Watson" is a reference to Scott Watson/Phone Guy from Rebornica's FNaF AU/comics(
ya know, the one whose design was pretty much THE reason why people started drawing FNaF Phone Guy as the literal guy with a phone as a head, & who basically inspired DSaFPhone Guys, specifically DSaF 2Peter, & to lesser extend, DSaF 1Steven, as a whole). A gray skin is also a reference to Rebornica's artstyle, where human characters like Mike, Jeremy or Fritz were mostly drawn as blank & greyscaleHis "human" design is based off Phone Guy's design from Pole-Bear's FNaF AU(
ya know, that AU that became a reason why humanized anime/gijinka versions of FNaF animatronics became so popular in 2015-2016). You may also know this design from Sky the Nightguard's "FNaF: New Nightguard" series, where Scott/Phone Guy looked exactly the same. In that series, Scott even had the same grey skin & red eyes. His "phone-head" being blue is a reference to OG FNaF Phone Guy's/Ralph's icon in Ultimate Custom Night, where he's represented as a blue rotary phone's receiver. This also may or may not be a nod to Ralph
CrownGuy/Phone Guy from the ooftroop's "An Undeniably Canon FNaF Timeline" series, where he had that same blue phone receiver as his head.In my "AU", this dude is the general manager & security-responsible of №1 Freddy FazBender's location(
the one from Hurricane, Utah). He's the one who you hear in OG FNaF 1 & 2, & by extension, the same "Scott" who calls Jack in PSTK besides Dave. In fact, I even would say that he's the same "Scott" who Jeff X meets in Story-Time at Freddy's, if I wouldn't know that STaF is apparently non-canon to DSaF series.Specifically, he got that role after "Missing Children Incident" of 1984 happened. Before that, Harry Fitzgerald used to be Phone Guy of Utah(
he even was the one who recordedFNaF 3tapes), & Scott was just a regular nightguard. But after the incident, Scott became Harry's replacement, as Harry himself just was so done that he committed suicide by shooting himself(hopefully, a phone structure was able to protect his skull, so after his "suicide", Harry was quickly transported toAfton Roboticsfactory & was successfully revived)He is the only known "Phoney" whose head isn't actually a phone. Dave just gifted him a functioning rotary phone that able to be worn like a mask, & also has a microphone inside that changes his voice to a typical Phone Guy voice(
so yes, he CAN take it off, unlike the others). Probably, this "mask" was stolen from Afton Robotics factory.By extension, he is the only known "Phone Guy" who is a fully functioning human, & NOT a robot/cyborg like the others. Cuz of that, he's also the only known "Phone Guy" that has no AI, doesn't think he is Scott Cawthon, & doesn't recognizes Mikey & Mike Jr. as his children.
Funnily enough tho, this makes him & the OG Scott Cawthon to be the only 2 Phone Guys whose actual legal name really IS "Scott". The other Phoneys just calls themselves "Scott Cawthon" cuz thats what their AI recognizes as their names.
Before FNaF 2 events, "Dead Children Incident" of 1987, &
Jack'sJeremy's unknown trauma during the dayshift, Scott & Dave used to be geniune friends. Or at least, Scott saw Dave as his friend, & when he was blamed for MCI, Scott tried to defend him, as he couldn't believe his buddy could do such a thing(this is especially sad, when you remember that in PSTK, Dave playsJackMikea recording of Scott's death on his Night 4, & says that he finds his death funny :<). Fortunately, years later, Jack will find Scott's corpse in Afton Robotics, & even will revive him as "Phone Dude" from FNaF 3. Together, Jack & Scott/Phone Dude will open "FAZBENDER'S FRIGHT: The Horror Attraction", & you can guess what will happen next.
