Game
Hello, Neighbor! Silent Whispers

Uhh... yeah... cool...

Prototype updates

This is my first time using articles because I literally just found out about this💀

I didn't post anything yesterday. I forgot.

The prototype is gonna release soon, I just need to make a few more items, some puzzles and uhh... Yeah, EVERYTHING. I'm still testing items while decorating the main map, making a main menu, and coding the pause menu.

Good news is that I finished the basement area.

I added a plate, an apple and a garage door that opens with the scrapped garage remote from alpha 1...

I also made a lockpick so if an item clips through the ground you can still open a door (especially if the key on the grave clips through the floor. It's the only way I found to not make the game softlock).

The neighbor has some new idle tasks.

He can cook and sit on the dinner table to eat. He can pee on the toilet like in alpha 2. He can take a bath. watch tv (Turning on and off the tv). Sit on the couch and sleep. I'm planning to add more tasks.

It's not much but I'm proud of myself for not cancelling the game. I never finished a game in my life, if I actually finish and upload the prototype I'm gonna be really REALLY proud.

And probably take a break.

The game is barebones

wasted my time that I never will get back after finding out the decimate mesh could've made it much easier to do it. Now I must live with the consequences and use the new model...

Hey guys, sorry. I haven't been working on the game, I started having a burn out from Hello Neighbor.

So with I'll pause the game for a bit until I feel like working on the game again.

I'm testing a new concept :)

Last screenshot for the day, gonna keep working on the game tomorrow.

Btw i'm thinking of modifying the hn hide and seek neighbor model for the pre alpha man.

Oh boy I sure like to turn off my neighbor's power off!

(btw I just worked on the game for 2 hours straight)

I got the player house area to work after months of trying.

Here's how the base map looks!

(Note: things may change, it still isn't finalized, I'm trying to get feedback on the lighting.)

👀

Testing with light bulbs :)

(The code is probably bad, I still need to research a better way of doing this)
