Howdy! At the start of June, we made an announcement regarding the game's development status and how we're going to be improving it.
We've given ourselves a set of rules to follow to do what the game needs and to avoid what the game doesn't need.
Then we announced that the game is out of the hiatus phase that started a year ago due to in real life stuff.
We ended it with social media links that were set up for Team Furenzu's announcements.
Improved Cutscene Gameplay
Speaking of new social media links, our YouTube channel indeed became really useful for video showcases that we wouldn't be able to put it into our GameJolt devlogs otherwise.
For this improved cutscene gameplay, we found that it's the best to showcase it on YouTube, and you can watch it here:

This cutscene contains one of the cutscenes that came with v2.0.0, which was completely rushed and there was no effort whatsoever. But with this update, I, Animeliqite, made some code changes and rewrote the lighting system that was used to light up torches.
Bugs included:
Porcupine's follower system wasn't working properly. Thanks to @onezhazha for the new follower system code.
Lighting system did not work properly. Now it uses accurate lighting just like in the animation series.
Here are some comparisions:
Not to mention that the new screenshots are subject to change, such as the wall texture that is not aligned perfectly. This is due to the original animation series using a tileset with 32x32 pixels, while UNDERTALE uses 20x20.
Speaking of New Content
We also changed some of the user interfaces starting with small ones through the menu screen and the settings screen.
The disclaimer screen was changed to make it more fancy.
A few QoL changes were added to Settings Menu. When you want to change a key, it'll be highlighted in blue. You cannot choose a key that had already been chosen. For example, for CANCEL/RUN, if you've chosen X, other keybinds will not accept the same key CANCEL/RUN has.
Adjusting volumes are made to be more convenient. You only press LEFT and RIGHT arrow keys to manage the volume.
The menu screen was changed a little bit. Normally, both Settings and Extras would be in the same place, but I decided to seperate them for convenience.
And that's all! Hope you liked the devlog!
