It's been a couple months since I last touched this game. OJD Short 2 and Apiphobia 2A are days from release after all and I am finishing them both up for the 18th.
But what I am also working on is a grand update for Ultimate JOLLY Night, which will adds tons of new content.
Major Features Added
A "Game Link" option that will be added to the menu. Clicking it will take you to a separate menu where you can click on three buttons representing the first 3 JOLLY Paradox games. Once you click on one of the buttons, you will have to insert the correct TXT file that you will receive by beating the respective JOLLY Paradox game, and you will unlock extra content relating to it in UJN.
Beating Project J-0114 and inserting the TXT file into UJN will unlock two office skins resembling both Project J-0114 and the original JOLLY game by IvanG.
Beating Curse of Mikhail and inserting the TXT file into UJN will unlock two office skins resembling both Curse of Mikhail and JOLLY 2.
Beating Apiphobia and inserting the TXT file into UJN will unlock three office skins resembling Apiphobia and both chapters of JOLLY 3.
Unlocking all three sets will result in a new night being unlocked, called the Paradox Night.
The Paradox
This absolute monstrosity you're seeing here is known as The Paradox.
It will be the main antagonist of Paradox Night, and the only enemy you will encounter there too.
It is an amalgamation of the 28 animatronics who appeared in the official JOLLY series, having at least one part each from all of them. In the night, it will act like a random one of its components, and you have to guess which mechanic it's using in order to survive.
Upon beating the Paradox Night, you will be given a fourth TXT file, which will be used at some point in the fourth Paradox game, which will serve as the final game.
Bug Fixes and Changes to the base game
No update is complete without a bunch of bug fixes to the game itself. As you all know, no game is perfect, and UJN is one of those games. There is always bound to be bugs and it is my job to make sure any are fixed to make a better game experience to you players.
Here is a list of planned bug fixes and changes in the update.
The map, camera buttons and the buttons for Fantasy Maxie, Rusty Foxy, and Rusty Bonnie wouldn't disappear when Shadow Maxie's attack gets triggered and the monitor is force-shut.
The Game Over screen would not fully appear after getting jumpscared, essentially causing a soft-lock.
Fantasy Jolly and Fantasy Tweetie should have a sound cue to remind the player that they are about to attack.
Metal Freddy would still be the office after using the monitor to get rid of him, but he would not jumpscare the player. I could have very easily fixed this issue during the very first patch if I didn't forget about him in favour of a myriad of other bugs and oversights that occurred during the initial release.
IDK when the update will be releasing, but I guess that's all for now.
