It's officially been 10 years since Undertale fully released. Ten years is a long time, you could have a lot of cake in ten years. You can become a lumberjack and change your entire wardrobe to flannel in ten years. Point is, a lot happens in ten years. In ten years Undertale- hasn't actually changed that much, it got some pretty cool ports though. However, while the game itself hasn't changed, the community definitely has. As time passes we continue to see the release of new music, new art, fangames, new mods and more surrounding this game the funny white dog created.
Over the years, millions of people have engaged in the works that this community gave birth to and I'm happy to have been a part of this fandom for so long (About as long as the game's been out!). It's great to see the community still creating brand new content to enjoy, and with fan projects like Undertale Yellow coming out, I'm excited to have seen a brand new generation of creators blossom with that, having been inspired by the success of projects I remember having just released.
On a more personal note, initially this project actually started off as a low quality scratch game, inspired by some of the fangames and AUs at the time. It's a project that, over the course of around 8-7 years slowly evolved into something larger, becoming more than just a story for my self. I'm really happy to say that years onward, I'm actually getting pushing this project off the ground and made into something more than just an idea and into something I can share just like the creators that inspired me. I haven't much more to say aside from thanking Toby Fox and the hundreds of people, in and out this community, who have inspired me to continue being creative. Don't forget that anyone can inspire if they do what they're passionate for.

In terms of updates, we haven't got too much to show, this post was mainly intended to be an anniversary celebration more than anything so don't count this as an official update post, view it more a little treat. That being said, we do have something to show off. Recently focus has been put into putting together the basic structure of the ruins. Despite the fact most rooms are gonna pretty simple, we'd like to take the opportunity to show off our first attempt at a more "complex" room.

Currently, we're using Undertale Assets as placeholders for certain things like leaves, vines and the sign, but as time goes on we're hoping to be able to show off some more original stuff. SAVE points are obviously needed but I think we have a lot more we gotta do until then. Focus has shifted to overworld stuff currently but we're hoping to fix the issues we mentioned in the previous post fixed relatively soon.
ONE LAST THING!
Not only is it Undertale's birthday, but also the canonical birthday of one of our characters, that being Chara! They're officially... Uh- Hmm. Okay so in 2025 they're kinda still dead according to the timeline, so I guess we'll go with their age by UTR, Happy 16th! We'll probably be celebrating this same birthday for the next 7 years.
