Happy upcoming year 2025, crackers!
With the upcoming holidays, our team decided to give you a gift of your own and release a new devblog!
Since this record is of great significance, BlueFire has once again created a special soundtrack to go along with it. Enjoy the festive atmosphere!
A NEW “UNDERTALE : CRACKED” GAME?!
That's right! Due to the fact that the development of the main story of the game is unfortunately going extremely slow, we are launching another project in parallel - “Undertale: Cracked | Last Winter Holidays”!
You can also check out the English version from the global official "Undertale: Cracked - Official" (YouTube) channel! (*watch*)
Some additional information on “Undertale: Cracked | Last Winter Holidays”
1. Development may take a while, so to compensate every year of the game's absence, we'll be giving you one of the color variations of the New Year's Skin for Sans!
Since the project began development last year, there will be 1 color variation of the skin available for the year of absence, which you can see in the image below.
* This is a variation up to 2028, but it doesn't mean that the development will be that long. Don't be scared, it's been Halloween for a while now. :)
2. The project will be exciting and will bring with it new unique mechanics that you have not seen before in other Undertale alternate universe projects.
3. SPECIAL ACHEEVEMENTS will be added for the project that will be tied to your GameJolt.
4. This project will implement most of the innovations from the previous Devblog entry
(New interface, Achievements, and so on...).
OFFICIAL SOCIAL NETWORKS OF THE “Undertale: Cracked” SERIES
In a previous development post in the "SOON" section, we mentioned the creation of official alternate universe networks this December.
Meet!
YouTube - Undertale: Cracked - Official.
At the moment we have only created video hosting accounts, but in the future once there are more of you, we will create other social media accounts as well.
Now you can keep up with the big news on the game not only in the Development Log section of the game page!
More about the new SpaceTeam member
We promised to tell you about what BlingoLoveTaco does. So - he is the translator of our projects into Spanish!
IMPROVING THE PRODUCTION OF DEVELOPMENT LOGS
Here are some updates and clarifications on the release of new entries in the Undertale: Cracked Development Log:
1. Localization.
Now new entries will be released in several languages (from top to bottom) in the order of their location in the game settings (English -> Russian -> Spanish...).
Attention! Each entry will be presented in Russian and English, but not all entries will be translated into other languages.
2. Special soundtracks.
Not all recordings will have a special soundtrack. Only global development logs (such as October 2024 and December 2024) will have it.
ANDROID DEVELOPMENT
Development is in full swing! We will most likely be able to release an Android version for “Undertale: Cracked - DEMO” in the near future. More details about this will be told to you by our programmer - The Nikita in the development log, which will be fully dedicated to this topic some time before the Android version is released.
PLANS FOR THE FUTURE
Unfortunately, we are not yet ready to fully share future game development plans as they are still under development and discussion. :(
However, as promised, we will mention some of them in passing. Try to solve the tasks to guess the future innovations! :)
1. A video game development company decided to update one of their popular games by adding new visual effects and improving the image quality. They want to attract more players and increase their satisfaction with the game. What is the main goal of this update?
2. A company needs to develop a new inventory management system that must work around the clock and provide access to employees regardless of their location. At the same time, the system must provide data security and the ability for multiple users to work simultaneously. With these requirements in mind, what deployment model should a company choose?
You can find out the answers in future devblog. We hope you enjoyed the challenges!
Conclusion
So, once again we have tried to surprise you with a lot of content on game development. We hope you enjoyed the development news. Subscribe to our social networks and follow the news of "Undertale: Cracked" universe. More to come!
Happy upcoming holidays!!!
