Hello everyone!
We’re back with another update on Undertale: Test of Fears! Development has been progressing steadily, and we’ve made great strides in multiple areas. Here’s a breakdown of what we’ve been working on.
Story and Script Progress
One of our biggest focuses has been refining the story, particularly in the underground sewers. This area plays a crucial role in the game's early moments, creating an eerie yet familiar atmosphere. Our goal is to maintain the essence of Undertale while introducing fresh ideas that enhance the experience. Expect a blend of mystery, tension, and storytelling that stays true to the world we all love.
here a very little preview of what we did :

Menus and UI Enhancements
We’ve been working on improving the game’s menus and interface, making them smoother and more intuitive. From animation polish to layout refinements, every change is aimed at making navigation more fluid and user-friendly. We want every interaction to feel natural and immersive.

Introduction "Cinematic" in Development
We’ve officially started production on the game’s animated introduction. Much like Undertale's opening, this cinematic will introduce the world and its lore in a visually engaging way. Our goal is to balance the familiar Undertale atmosphere with unique elements that bring something new to the table. It’s an exciting challenge, and we can’t wait to show you more.

New Music in the Works
Music is a key part of Test of Fears, and our team has been hard at work composing new tracks to bring the world to life. Each piece is carefully crafted to fit the mood of different scenes, enhancing the emotional weight of the story and gameplay. We’ll be sharing some samples soon, so stay tuned!
General Improvements and Optimization
Beyond these major updates, we’ve been refining visuals, optimizing gameplay, and fine-tuning various aspects of the game. Every detail matters, and we’re committed to delivering a polished experience.
A Major Milestone: Our Coding Roadblock is Over!
One of the biggest challenges we faced was the lack of programmers—but we’re excited to announce that this roadblock is finally behind us! We now have two programmers on board, allowing us to move forward with implementing game mechanics, battles, and interactions. This is a huge step for the project, and we can’t wait to bring Test of Fears to life in a more tangible way.
Still Looking for Pixel Artists and Animators
While we’ve made great progress, we’re still searching for pixel artists and animators to help with both overworld sprites and battle animations. If you or someone you know is interested in contributing, we’d love to have you join the team!

That’s all for this update! We truly appreciate your continued support and enthusiasm—it keeps us motivated as we push forward. If you have any thoughts, feel free to share them in the comments.
Thanks for being part of this journey!
