Untold Devlog # 01

So! It’s our very first devlog, bear with us … because we’re new to this shindig.

What is Untold Tale?

Untold Tale is a 2.5D horror puzzle platformer. Delve into the world of children’s tales with a grim twist. Will you live to tell the tale?

What we’ve been up to

As we’re working on our game part time, it’ll be a slow progress. So far, we’ve managed to get a script completed for the game’s launch trailer. Our concept artist Chris Phillips is knocking up our story board for our CG artists to work from.

Callum Wain has made significant progress with Red and her lantern, progress will be posted soon!

What’s ahead?

We aim to have Red rigged and skinned in the next two weeks, along with having Act 01 fleshed out in Unreal Engine. Our programmers Steve Sparkes and Filipe Serrazina are testing out smoke, water and fire FX in Unreal.

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
