Hi everyone 0/, no intro! right to the reason you clicked into this devlog
It looking way better isn’t it? , just look to the very first prototype:
But don’t get too familiar with it. Remember two things:
it’s a early concept art and
the game will have a procedural system so when you play it can be very different (and for sure more awesome).
The artist have been doing an amazing work providing me with more conceptual art but, I won’t show it yet, I want to test how things work inside the game unfortunately those assets are not ready yet which brings us to… the up.. %&…d4….t3….
I have been hell of busy because I’m very close to deliver the app I told you previously (to get budget for the game) and oh boy! the scope creep have been sitting all along the development, I’m half guilty for saying: “Yes, that can be done…” but I never said: “…but not in a month”. The client is happy with the app but it’s being very stressful.
Also another person approached me because they need an educational app not that hard to make so it’s very likely I’ll work on it, they already approved the budget.
You know what’s funny… I was knocking doors for more than a year for somebody to invest in Human Piñata and all enterprises just left the negotiation without saying yes or no, when I decide to invest my own savings into it, I just got a bunch of work (don’t get me wrong I’m glad I’m having work to do) all at once that doesn’t let me focus on the game.
That being said I hope that this week I’ll be able to continue writing code for the PGC systems and once I have the assets to put inside unity I’ll show you a new update with new art and procedurally generating stuffs
