Hey all! So this update pretty much concludes all the content I originally planned for GAUZE’s final release. However, this isn’t a 1.0.0 update! what the eff?????
I’m hoping to do some testing, and send the game around a bit first. I’m hoping that feedback from doing this will help me focus on what I should be doing next.
Aside from that, there are a few others thing that I definitely know I need to do. The first being some sort of “Unlock Screen” which displays whenever the player unlocks a new character. This will make the character unlock process make more sense/be more cohesive. I also want to add some sort of death animation to the bosses. This way the battles will seem more satisfying. There are also a couple bugs that I’m aware of, and will be looking into.
Also, maybe RIGHT-CLICK support?

Ending Cutscene plays after defeating the third and final boss
An indicator at the character selection screens will display the highest floor a character has reached, and also indicate if you have beaten the game with a specific character
Characters now need to be unlocked! Each character has different requirements
BALANCE
Increased chance for champion enemies to spawn
When entering the post-game floors, the game speeds up
-SPEED++ now costs 50HP
-WALLS have 150HP instead of 100HP, and also have a new destroyed graphic
MISC.
WALLS now have a random chance of being rotated by 90 or 180 degrees
Adjusted main menu screens
BOSS KILL graphics shows after defeating a boss
Renamed SWAMPY to OOZING
Renamed FROZEN to FRIGID
