Update 0.7.3


Been chipping away at some smaller stuff in the holidays. Also got some new awesome tracks from Moose that’s now in the game .

Changes

Music:

  • Added a bosstheme for the first and second boss

  • Added a short, disturbing tune for the village level

Art:

  • Redrew the sniper barricade found in the snow levels as I found the old one lacking.

  • Snow that’s been stepped on now returns to its original state after approximately 3 seconds to strenghten the sense that it’s actually snowing.

  • Added a new sprite for the second boss’ bullets.

Code:

  • Many small changes to the code of the second boss. The fight is way more interesting at this point and I’ve designed it to emphasize the use of the flamethrower.

I’ll be working on the second snow level in the weeks ahead and I’m hoping to have laid the groundwork of the third boss as well.
