I haven't posted in quite a while but this page is still garnering attention (thankful, I'm surprised) so I figured I should post an update

A lot of things have happened over the year, ive gained knowledge (oddly enough), dabbled in new creative projects and most of all, ive realized this game is filled with a bunch of garbage. But I love that garbage.

  • I took a "short" break to collect myself and work on other creative projects, ive resumed work on the game

  • Ive ported the game to GMS2, im taking advantage of the engines capabilities and adding things to the game that was once impossible to me, or otherwise, incredibly difficult to implement in GMS1.4. Aka, getting with the times.

  • I'm planning to update the demo, as soon as I can correct the bugs that are naturally apparent to porting old code to a new engine

  • Ive been watching gameplay videos of Hamachi, which has been a tremendous help. After looking at the same thing for so long, it gets harder to see the flaws.

    Ive seen a good chunk of people struggling on the later levels. I'll be making some minor changes to the level layout to correct some obvious BS, but other than that, just get good ig I mean im not running a hold hands carry you through baby simulat--

I've laid out a roadmap for the next 3 years of my life, I'm not willing to open up about the other projects I've been working on outside of Hamachi just yet, but happen they do succeed, I'm giving myself at least another 2 years of development time. If they fail. this time will obviously be shortened by quite a large margin. I know this doesn't make sense, but in the future, maybe I'll shed some more light on it.

I do apologize that I've been past due every planned "release date" I've set for this game, I take a huge amount of pride and dedication to every creative work that I do, and when I'm dedicated, I wont stop till I believe that what I've done is 100% perfect. Which is why I will not give a date for completion. Other than the 1-3 year mark.

Thank you for following, viewing, playing, whatever you do. I hope this update is at least satisfying. Development has been incredibly smooth and quick so far.

I just realized after years but why does the enemy in black exist when it would make more sense for the enemy in red to populate the world, you only see hamachi like characters once no?
