Update, and Future Plans

In the latest update various changes were made to prepare for the future of Get Big. The original idea for the game was for mobile phones, Including various upgrades and player customizations. This update brings us one step closer to that ultimate dream. The screen has been resized to simulate a phone, along with all the textures. Below you can find a full change log.

Changelog

  • Window and Textures have been resized.

  • Reps and Maxout mode now work differently. Max is still not saved.

  • Added poster to background.

Bugfixes

  • Reps and Maxout now wait for first keystroke.

  • Rest between Maxout reps.

  • Maxout increases based off your previous weight.

Now to talk about the future. The next update will hopefully include music and sfx. With this new feature options will be added for toggling for said music and sfx, and background customizations to spice up your gym. The next update is also planned to have Achievements and (finally) saving.

The update after this should be even more exciting, including things like in game currency for buying upgrades and various customizations. Along with a full shop and progression system. Eventually it will also be ported over to android and finally iOS.

Enemies can also suddenly spawn through Realm Rifts. These Rift Spawns are going to be stronger than the ones wandering around. TBD on the enemies... #screenshotsaturday #godstear #madewithunity

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
