ok hi I just took a fat nap there's still crust in my eyes but anyway here's what I've done

1. figured out lighting and clearing layers for sprite on bg scenes (huge)

if you played the last dance demo you know I said I hadn't added lighting and scene coloring layers yet bc I didnt know how to clear the color after when switching to the next scene but now I do it was actually fairly easy with a little bit of old renpy tutorial digging but it works like ⤵️

I need to go impliment this everywhere but I put it into tld where it was absent just to check it out and it looks awesome it rlly color matches the sprites to the backgrounds a lot better and looks like they're really in there, I'm working on a few that have spotlights or different kinds of things

2. replaced some of my placeholder quick drawing scenes in tld

if you played the demo you know I said I'd change some stuff I cobbled together sloppily and I did I just redrew a bit of that and if you took the "I'll wait outside choice" I plan on drawing a little cutscene there and/or turning it into a talking sprite scene havent made up my mind but I know that was one I just didnt have yet therefore the black but I'm very happy with the new stuff and more dialogue for some parts I just wasnt done with like in the car

3. redrew the main tboma title screen

holy shit I'll be able to show this off soon but the old one is cool but my LORD this one is straight up beautiful not kidding like one of my best 😦😦 um if you know me I have the ittiest bittiest crush on my william freakton (it's worse than that it runs deep) so umm I can certifiably say this is like the most straight up beautiful image of him in this game other than when he doesn't have his shirt on it's awesome hes so cool I hope he dies

4. new branching choices I came up with in main tboma

tld has a lot of like you make a choice and something scary suddenly fucking happens in it which makes sense for the context of oswald losing his shit but I came up with some bangers for main tboma too and decided to keep that up because I find it insanely funny when you're like ok choice time and then it's like cool ummm Wild non literal hallucination on screen NOW the metaphors or whatever I finally said yes to this idea I had of william on fire and melting in his bathtub because hes like THE WATER IS TOO HOT THIS IS LIKE UM.. HELL IS COMING TO TAKE ME IM SCARED so I'll use this to test out if I like this in tboma just as much

5. I finished coloring and shading night 2 and 3 of tld (huge) this took me foreeeeeeeeeverrr it only took me a couple days to do i just kept putting it off

6. trying to design gui buttons right now I figured illustrated textboxes would be too flashy so I'm doing anything crazy with the game menu buttons because I really wanted the gears and eyeballs and stuff theme for tboma and the evil nightmare meat themed buttons for tld and I haven't come up with it for executioner yet but I'm leaning on zombie helpy or something idk I can just go wild I might quickly redraw the options menus too just for flair and lowkey goosebumps type illustration for at least tld would go hard as shit so I'm gonna give all 3 of them super cool menu backgrounds okaaayy 😋

7. writing is going good I just like rlly embraced the weird shit I dont care anymore

I hope you like whatever this kind of thing is because it's my charming style not really I've just been writing like this since I was younger I just do whateverrr but this healthy mix of fruit and veggies thing is taking me the fuck out because like when it's in game this is a relatively tense serious scene and one of the options is just this ??? like it just means not entirely lying and not entirely honest but it's like why did you say that man we're gonna beat you with rocks 😐

8. nobody knows what the hell I'm talking about but I finished a crucial scene in tboma ch 3 after the mci with the news reporters I just kept putting this off for some reason not that I didnt want to I just kept forgetting

9. fixed my sprites for freddy chica bonnie foxy a lot across the main ones, toys, and withereds I rescaled them on screen to be more optimal and they have a little movement per expression which is cool and they have less like long legs that make them look odd, this new change should scale them aprox. the same as ms. thing in tld where you only see the top of her legs and she's almost as tall as the screen and looks proportionately large next to others in a scene (see below) I'm working on this for all animatronics bc idk I just drew some of them wacky where their legs were like way too visible ... I'm straight up not sure why the hell I drew them like that I've been drawing fnaf for 9 years+ but like. they should all scale like this now lmao and be taller than all the humans still

10. made some new music .. supertramp has to be on soundtrack I decided that's willy's favorite you would love 1979 album breakfast in america I gotta do it idk when I'll upload

11. you can pet jinx every night in tld now

12. story change to tboma where cannibalism was ALSO involved in MCI so I need to draw a few new things but originally he was only doing that in everything afterwards and he only experimented with it before but it fits the narrative better if he was always doing that shit um it had a really REALLY cool outcome with some story connections later that just made more sense 😁👍 I feel like people would've been like ok why did he eat all these other people but not during the MCI and I wouldve looked you straight in the eyes and said idk 😿 but we got some more cool ass scary scenes for that now + he makes 1,000 more obnoxious jokes in dialogue later about it he is a cartoon I love u wicked willy you will be real soon
