Update on development!

Hello everyone,

Chris here, things have hit a bit of a lull over the past couple months due to holidays and such, BUT Christmas approaches and we will be in a new year here soon. We are in the process of restructuring our plans into a more organized design which we hope you will find more accessible and interesting.

The Trello is slowly being updated to a new order of processes. We will have planned features, characters and “levels” listed. Beyond these you will see our roadmap. We are far too early in development to set dates to this roadmap, but we will be updating it as we progress through each step of it. We are still technically in the idea phase of development, so you will see things get added, removed and changed around to suit our final vision for the game.

We are currently solidifying our storyline. We have a storyboard in place, it’s just a matter of putting the pieces together and fleshing out the lore behind the different species and factions.

Our website will also be seeing an update to focus solely around the game, Blue Aurora: The G.A.I.A. project. We look forward to getting some more information on our progress out there. We are developing an entire “Universe” to suit our game. While we are not actually creating a universe and the playfield will only stretch to the lengths of the STRATA Research Center, we want the world you experience to feel like it is a living, breathing universe outside and have the gameplay lead into that feeling.

Have a good Boi

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

a drawing I did because I was bored😪. But I love how it turned out.😊

Made my first ever animation.

Explosive domino effect

Colorful Fox

Happy Late Easter!
