Hey everyone ! Here is a little update about what i'm doing these times on Project Apocalypse.
First, i want to announce that we are close from the first Pre Alpha version of the game, (maybe it will even be available before Cyberpunk 2077 ).
But i still have some work to do to achieve that release in good conditions, here are some of the major WIP features:
Implementation of the finals UI
I already worked on the designs, all I have to do is implement them into Unreal Engine. Some are already into the game, only these two menus misses:
And this one will come later with the settings implementation (like in Alpha 0.0.1):
UI Animations will also come with the Alpha 0.0.1
Audio
Yes.. Audio is a big part of a game and I'm actually working with a Sound Designer to make the best audio possible for Project Apocalypse ! You may be have seen that I already uploaded the OST for the game so we are in good way with this objective too !

With this will also come an update on the AI to use the new audio system.
Projectiles and weapons
Projectiles and weapons are the major part of the gameplay and they still need some tweaks and work.
For example smoke grenades still don't have any effect on IAs so that already a point to work on !
The weapons need improvement too, first, I plan to remake all my aiming system in order to make it easier to implement with all the weapons and scopes. Then, a big work will be to make good audio and balancing for all weapons (26 weapons for the moment).
As you can see there is still a lot of work to do and I wanted to write this little article to show you that this game is in good way but you will have to wait a little bit.
