Hey just wanted to update you all on what's going on with sans the game rn
Good news: IT'S STILL NOT CANCELLED!!!
Bad news: The game is gonna be on hiatus for a wee bit (idk how long).
Why? Well for one, when you work on a game for like more than a year and a half straight, you begin to get a bit tired of it, and sometimes you can get tired enough where you say "screw it, this game is cancelled."
I very much do NOT want to get to that point, so I'm just gonna stop working/thinking about it for a little while until I get my groove back.
Another reason is that no matter what I do, this game is just on the back of my mind. I could be just watching videos or eating dinner or even just sleeping and then I just start thinking stuff like "I should work on sans the game," or "ooooh I should add [[insert completely unrealistic thing for a single person to add to an rpg maker mv game here]]," and I just don't want to keep thinking like that.
I also feel as if because of the reasons above I'm not really putting my all into the game, and if I continue like this I'll end up just releasing something I'm not proud of and that people won't enjoy.
Plus I have a lot of other games I want to work on, like Adventurous Nights At Fred Guys 2, The Simpletons, QuEGG for EGG (I don't think I've talked about that one on here before that much but it's something I really wanna get done), and others.
With all these reasons combined I think it's just better to put this game aside for just a little bit until I'm ready to get back on the sans grind!!!!
Also one more thing!!! In a previous update I said that I would try and get this game out by this spring. Now considering how I'm putting this game on break for an unknown amount of time, I'm sure it won't be a huge surprise that this will not be accomplished.
That being said, I feel like putting a due date on this game is a big reason on why I keep trying to force myself to work on it. So I should just say that when I DO end up picking this game back up, I won't be putting any release dates out until like just a few days before release where all I have to do is fix like typos or whatever.
I hope no one is too sad about this, but if so then sorry. :/

I don't have a lot of news since at this point most things I can say about the game would be pretty big spoilers, but what I can say is that I will TRY to get this game out some time in May. I want it out before Deltarune chapters 3+4 <3

Can't wait until I can work on this mysterious thing. After the Adventurous Nights At Fred Guys 2 demo is out, I can give this game some attention

Little update on sans the game stuff since there's probably a few new people here.
SANS THE GAME WAS ALMOST JUST COMPLETELY LOST FOREVER BUT I FIXED IT!!! My computer plug got unplugged by accident while working on it and corrupted RPGMV file for the project, but I just got a better one.
Revenge of the old sans the frog asset I guess...
Okay Fred Guy fans (2 people, I think), I have GREAT NEWS!
The Adventurous Nights At Fred Guys 2 demo is nearly done! I just gotta add some polish, some secrets and achievements! (The games gonna have achievements. Idk if I ever mentioned that.)
Rebrand alert! And by rebrand it's just me committing to the name Ashleebells instead of having two names. Rip Shyder Tyder.
Also, announcement! New game coming soon. Sans the game is dead, but Underlame lives forever. More soon.
At first, instead of everyone looking like sans, they'd just be their normal sprites with sans' face on them. I decided not to do this when I realized what Papyrus would look like. (Also it felt a bit lazy)
