Update Patch 0.1.9


Insanely small update patch but due to GameJolt’s annoying way of numbering and organising I have to release this as a “new” version when technically it’s 0.1.8.1, oh well.

[Changelog]

  • Finally made it so that when pressing both left and right you stand still.

  • Kind of fixed a bug that used the prior bug to let you spam jump walls.

  • Altered saving so that if you press numpad 7, it saves the game, and if you press numpad 9 it loads the last “save”.

[Next Update]
As promised in probably nearly every update, I want to start trying to design actual levels for the game so it shapes to be more like I want it to be. These final few patches before 0.2.0 I guess, will be more cleaning and polishing.

Also, one major overhaul I want to bring is on saving. I feel like checkpoints would suit this game more as currently it only saves when you enter a new room (except there’s only 1 room) and even then it doesn’t save the room state, just the name of it.

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
