Oh boy! Finally, after a while, school is over and I have much more time for this stuff! I did some work, and now all the rooms are playable and the game can be beaten in two different ways! You can win by escaping the building or by staying alive until 6:00 AM!
I'm going to release a demo exclusively to the playtesters first, then after receiving feedback (and possibly adding/removing/changing some things) I'll release it to everyone else!
Right now, my main concerns are:
The game is too easy (might just be because I know how everything works and am not taking time to look around)
The game isn't interesting or fun (might be able to fix with feedback)
I plan on adding more stuff to the game, but I'm not entirely sure what. Here's some things I plan on making:
A kind of extras menu where you can see stuff like all the death messages, maybe some behind-the-scenes stuff, and some hints to finding some of the easter eggs I've hidden around
Maybe more characters? Like for example, I could add Golden Freddy. After that, maybe I could add skins or something? Like something you can find that changes how the animatronics look in their descriptions? I don't know why you would want that, but it's something I could do.
Different modes? Like one idea I had was to make a Golden Freddy mode where every animatronic is replaced by Golden Freddy (either meaning there are multiples Golden Freddies running around, which would be easier for me, or meaning there would be one Golden Freddy that moves very fast)
Whatever you guys want me to add! Feel free to comment here and tell me what you think about my simple little pop-up notification game and what I should add (once the demo comes out of course).
Maybe some special exclusive stuff for the playtesters who helped in the development of this game!
Well, I'm off to go release the game to the playtesters! Stay tuned for the public release of the demo, and remember to keep your hopes and expectations low. This is literally just a game made of pop-up notifications, it's not gonna be like other FNAF fangames.
