So, I have talked to myself about the timeline, and what it will turn out to be in the future. 3 things which came up were Pricings, Hosting Platforms and Game Engines. So lets talk about those...
Pricing
I figure that since there will be a lot of work put into these games, there could be payments to not only reward us, but to support us and fund for the next games. I won't want to confirm this right now (since GameJolt and itch.io need PayPal, and I don't have that), but I might draft this idea
Payment Plan DRAFT 01 (AU$)
Codename: Reawakened = Free (With recommended donation of $2.00)
Across the Galaxy = $4.00
Techno City = $8.00
A Refute against Cancer = $16.00
The Script: Reconnected = $32.00
See the pattern? The price doubles from the games. With C:R, I would rather have no price but donations. The reason is that it's, well... a visual novel in Renpy. There wouldn't be much, but the game engines would explain why.
Hosting Platforms
So, now onto the platforms to host the games. I will definitely confirm C:R's platform, but I plan to migrate off. So here is what I have:
Codename: Reawakened = GameJolt, itch.io
Across the Galaxy = Unsure
Techno City = Unsure
A Refute against Cancer = Unsure (Maybe Steam?)
The Script: Reconnected = Steam, Epic Games Store (Maybe Console if I can afford it)
Yeah, GameJolt and itch.io are staying for C:R. I want to make TS:R on Steam, since that has literally every major game. Epic Games, I explain more down.
The other 3, I have no idea. Maybe the first ones for AtG, but I want to migrate somewhere else.
Game Engines
We're now at the Game Engines. This is gonna be confusing, since I need to learn 5 engines, but it's gonna be worth it. I figure that if I plan the games correctly, they may fit with the engines.
Codename: Reawakened = Renpy
Across the Galaxy = Clickteam Fusion 2.5 (Free)
Techno City = Game Maker Studio 2 (Free)
A Refute against Cancer = Unity
The Script: Reconnected = Unreal Engine
This may be a draft, but I am in the works of the Renpy project, and Unreal Engine is great for major games, such as FNAF Security Breach and Crash Bandicoot 4: It's about Time. Clickteam and GMS2 might change, but it depends on how I want it in the future.
Some may be happy with this, some not. Remember that most of this is a DRAFT, and not 100% Confirmed. I hope you all can understand this in some way.
Thank you
