Update v0.1.100

Hello subjects,

here comes the first update to The Screening, which aims to make everything more comprehensible, easier to use (thanks to various UI improvements), and adds more control over characters during a mission. Hope you’ll enjoy.

  • Added minimal intro

  • Made the success chances etc visible now, so what’s happening in the background is now more clear

  • At the end of a successful mission the player is given a random reward via an additional screen

  • Stats and skills required by a specific mission are now evidenced in every phase

  • Missions: added “mission success probability” bar

  • Missions: for each mission’s internal challenge, the player will now have to choose what character to use, instead than everything happening automatically

  • Instead than gaining 3 new characters if you win, none if you lose, now you gain as many new characters as were left alive at the end of a mission (before the final mass murder), plus an additional one if the mission was successful (but never more than 3)

  • After selecting your squad, all their stats are fully uncovered, and when you roll over a character during a mission step a “success percentage” box appears (based on stats, skill bonus and mood)

  • UI and usability changes

Another house i made long time ago.

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

"Our work is never over" they said.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.
