Hey folks got a small update here that I wanted to get out to everyone quickly. Here's what's in it:
Warp gates in systems will not necessarily appear by inhabited planets. The goal of this is to vary the decision making about what planets to save and make it a less likely that you will get a bunch of resources on one side of the map and the planets you need to save on the other without a fast way to travel in between.
All but the starting ships have a new weapon they start out with. This is another balancing mechanic I'll play with as time goes on. Let me know what you think of these!
New enemy which features a beam weapon, easy to avoid but limits the safe space of players. This weapon will be used a lot more with upcoming enemies.
