Hey everyone! Another week has passed and we have more updates to share.
Let’s start this one with a fresh battle track from our composer Claudi:
We spent some time improving our modeling pipeline, and most of that was related to rigging experiments. Blender to UE4 workflow can get pretty cumbersome, but we were finally able to solve most if not all of our problems by using the amazing Auto-Rig Pro and Voxel Heat Diffuse Skinning plugins, which literally allow to import a game-ready character from Blender to Unreal in a matter of a few clicks.
And we also added some IK (Inverse kinematics) to improve our characters’ hands positioning during two-handed animations.

We’re also continuing adding new character variations into the game. Some screenshots of new bandit heads in action:


And finally, here’s a little work-in-progress teaser of a new stage. This one’s pretty large and will be an important part of the game’s story. We’ll have more of it to show soon!
