UPDATED DEMO AND LINUX BUILD


Hi there,

we have updated the Windows build of Heart&Slash to our current Beta version. As before, the demo includes the first level and a sneak peek at its bosses.

There are lots of new weapons, quests, unlocks and, most important of all, polish. We’ve been working on the game for a long time, and the old build did not properly represent how much the game has improved.

We have also added a Linux build of the game, for both 32 and 64bit systems. It is slightly less tested, but it should work decently. The Linux version does not work well in PCs with integrated Intel graphics cards. Use this demo to check if the game runs well in your system.

We’ll see if we can update the Mac build in the near future.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
