I found a bug I thought I had eliminated a while back. Turned out I had reintroduced it after tweaking the item spawning code. If items ran out of potential places to spawn, the game would freeze. I believe that issue is finally fixed, though I realize I’ll have to keep an eye on it if I tweak the spawning code again.
In addition, “Impossible” difficulty was renamed to “Panic”. The difficulty was tweaked. It’s entirely unfair, very difficult and luck-based, but it is possible to win that mode.
