[v.0.2.0 Balance and patch notes] The character selection screen has arrived!


Hey everyone, and a special hello to all of you who are new here!

With your feedback, we implemented a segment of the game that’s been on our minds for quite some time now: the character selection screen. We’re very thankful for the feedback you’ve given us as it has been quintessential in improving the game.

Selecting your team now consists of you hanging their paintings on the wall of Sam’s gallery. This gives you a chance to customize your team and learn more about them and their abilities before the stage starts. Doing this creates a lot more variation in strategy between playthroughs.

[Balance Changes]

  • Sam’s damage raised from 4 to 5.

  • Bob’s damage raised from 3 to 4.

  • Trashling’s health reduced from 8 to 4.

[Patch Notes]

  • Character selection added.

  • Amount of allies on Vomit (stage 2) changed from 2 to 1.

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.
