This release is primarily about adjustments to the lighting and roomscale options in an effort to improve performance. On my own system I saw 30% framerate gains from these changes, and on top of that I’ve added the ability to disable reflections (a vive-only feature, that’s why oculus users had better performance), which also dramatically increases framerates.
I’ve also tweaked the difficulty a little to make the first night a bit less frustrating, and have added a few quality-of-life options that might make the room controls a little easier to manage.
