V.1.8.0

Last month went well and all of the items I had intended to add have been successfully implemented.

Though Containers do not actually contain anything at the moment.

This month I will be adding

  • Doors which will break when attacked.

  • Making the AI not walk through doors.

  • Making Containers generate Items when they are broken.

And last but not least I will be changing the art size.

I will be moving from a 32 x 32 size tile to a 16 X 16 size tile.

My rational is that it is too easy to make 32 x 32 size tiles look like the thing i want it to.

but I am not good enough to make it look good, so I am hoping that moving to a smaller tile size will force me to improve my pixel art skills.

So see you next month and I hope you enjoy the latest version of Flag Quest.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa MarĂa Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
